MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

-Responsible for the supervision, control, planning and development of the warehouse/3PL operations and distribution

-Responsible for the control and supervision of the warehouse staff and all Human Resource related aspects of personnel management.

-Responsible of safety regulations enforcement.

-Responsible to enforce and maintain proper security measures and procedures.

-Implement and maintain high productivity standards with permanent and temporary resources.

-Maintain warehouse premises and equipment in good standing conditions (cleaning, maintenance and repairs).

-Assist management with pricing, quoting, sales presentations and promotions of 3PL services and business development.

-Responsible to address and resolve in a timely and business efficient manner clients' complaints and billing disputes.

-Implement and enforce a Continuous Improvement program (CIP) to increase efficiency and improve customer service.

-Direct and manage operations to maximize space utilization, improve lead time and reduce overall operating costs.

-Responsible to develop, document, maintain and enforce proper standard operating procedures (SOPs).

-Responsible for meeting assigned 3PL budget.

-Maintain regular communication with the warehouse clientele.

- Monitor, prepare and present Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting and analytics to management and clients.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Fluency, written and spoken: English and Mandarin.

- Experience in WMS implementation is an asset

-Minimum +10 years experience in warehousing and 3PL operations in various functions, including managerial/supervision position and In depth knowledge of tier 1 Warehouse Management Systems.

-Knowledge of China Customs regulations.

-Knowledge of transportation, import and export procedures pertaining to all modes of transport (Land, sea and air).

-Good knowledge of Retail operations.

-Strong organizational and planning skills.

-Strong supervision and coaching skills.

-Strong people skills.

-Strong communication skills with employees, clients, vendors and management.

-Experience with multinational client base is an asset.

-Position located in Yantian, China.

-Occasional travel required.
