Job Description:

• Work with product development team and suppliers to ensure international product safety standards and retailer protocols are met
• Maintain awareness of current industry regulations and brand requirements
• Perform inspections and factory evaluations
• Manage QC issues, ensuring commercially acceptable product is delivered in a timely manner
• Advise technical solutions
• Address audits and social compliance issues with factories
• Coordinate sample submission and testing lab follow-up
• Maintain an organized filing and documentation system
• Generate product specifications, covering safety requirements and inspection procedures
• Ad hoc duties as assigned by management
  
  

Requirements

• Form 5
• Minimum 4 years of QA/QC experience in licensed toys, backpacks and accessories
• Extensive knowledge of production processes
• Strong professional relationships with third party testing laboratories
• Practical experience with ASTM and EN71 and related
• Detailed minded and self-motivated
• High integrity and strong sense of ethics
• Well organized with strong analytical skills
• Proactive, hardworking, sense of responsibility and able to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken / written English and Mandarin 
• Proficient in MS Office
• Frequent Travel to China is required
• Immediate availability is preferred
