HKEX is looking for a bright, creative, digitally-native individual full of ideas to join its Digital Communications team.
Digital Communications manages the HKEX Group and Market websites, HKEX's social media channels, and event applications. We are seeking an individual who would like to be part of a fun and engaged team that looks after one of the most relevant and important financial communications platforms in Hong Kong. The successful applicant will be an individual that really understands the power of social media, has a strong sense of what resonates online, and is an expert in creating compelling digital content. We are also looking for someone who would like to represent once of Hong’s most iconic businesses in the local, mainland and international markets, and who is interested in really developing their professional skills in a dynamic and high profile business environment. Being a good and snappy writer is also a must!

Job Responsibilities:

• Write copy for social media and the website, assist in graphics and video production
• Liaise with internal departments, be aware of what’s happening the market, and come equipped with great ideas for social media content
• Manage the back-end system of HKEX's social media platforms including WeChat, Twitter, Linkedln, YouTube and other software that assists in deploying and tracking posts
• Monitor online discussions about HKEX
• Assist with external website content management
• Be actively involved in project management
• Participate in the planning and implementation of corporate promotion activities
• Build knowledge of financial markets and HKEX’s role in the global industry

• University degree in any discipline
• Minimum of two years' experience in marketing, communications, journalis, public or investor relations, or related areas (financial market experience preferred, but not essential)
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and social media marketing campaigns
• Experience in using Microsoft Office products
• Graphics and video capability a plus, including experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
