The appointee will be required to:

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an overall strategic marketing plan for the Association and its works.
• Take charge of membership matters including promotion, recruitment and retention, database management and membership benefits.
• Devise and implement innovative initiatives to promote the use of technology in the retail industry.
• Organize corporate events and activities of different scale and nature, including government funded projects, networking and business matching activities, award schemes, education and training, etc.
• Expand new sources of revenue and sponsorship support to Association’s programmes and activities.
• Serve the Association’s Committees.

Requirements

• University graduate in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience, of which 3 years should be at managerial level.
• Outgoing, presentable and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capable of building strong business relationships and possess take charge and follow through abilities.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese including Mandarin.
• Prior experience in industry promotion and dealing with government funded projects would be an advantage.
