Job Description
Broadly-speaking, the ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE will be performing in a supporting role in areas such as marketing collateral preparation, organizing events and promotional activities, stock and re-order level tracking and other account-related responsibilities. The role will report to the department manager and will require the incumbent to work within a highly matrix environment.
Please note this is not a finance and/or accounting related role; it is one that supports the management of a key commercial customer.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, edit and coordinate information for marketing collateral.
- Assist in organizing events and promotions.
- Manage products / samples (e.g. logistics and tracking) among different suppliers.
- Facilitate customer product selection.
- Manage product requisitions.
- Maintain accurate and complete products records and prepare product reports.
- Stay abreast of all updated relevant market information so as to facilitate product price benchmarking.
Requirements:
- Experience – 1 to 2 years of work experience, within a cross-cultural multinational environment is preferred. Experience in account management (support functions), back-office marketing support, logistics support etc. is preferred. Experience in luxury goods retailing or trading industry will be a bonus.
- Education - Degree or tertiary education with a major in Business Administration or Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Business skills – good general business acumen, analytical, able to communicate with all levels of staff and a good team player. Must be detail oriented.
- Personal skills – attention to details, multi-tasking, work under pressure, independent, initiative, responsible, accountable, well organized, efficient, positive and self-motivating.
- IT skills – Good PC literacy required i.e. hands-on experience of word and data processing (Microsoft Office). Other IT skills would be a welcome bonus.
- Language ability – Fluent and good English and Cantonese for both verbal and written communication.
