As we continue to grow our operations in Asia, we are looking for a high caliber candidate to join our professional team as a Senior Associate in Hong Kong.  

A Senior Associate at Teneo is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to our clients and plays a pivotal role in managing client’s day to day plans and project-based scope of work; anticipating needs and identifying potential issues ahead of them becoming problems. Senior Associates set high standards and play key role in monitoring quality of work and ensuring agreed timelines are met. A Senior Associate also plays a key role in supporting junior team members’ development; ensuring opportunities to learn, on-the-job coaching and a motivating team environment to work in.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Seeks opportunities for organic growth by networking across client organisations and introducing the consultancy to new contacts
  • Manages projects with a forward view to anticipate needs and potential issues, delivering client-ready work and advise to high standards
  • Assesses client’s needs/brief and quickly becomes a subject matter expert
  • Demonstrates an understanding of other areas of expertise within the business and shares expertise with clients and colleagues
  • Stays well informed and fosters new thinking and insights. Readily shares new knowledge with teams and clients

 

Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years related experience in corporate communication, financial communication or transaction advisory
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining good relationships
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Educational background in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Finance is an advantage
  • International experience (study and/or work) a plus
  • Have a strong appetite for global news and macroeconomic/finance events
  • A deep understanding and broad resources in media
  • Candidate needs to be confident, agile and proactive
  • Must display a strong work ethic, high standards and commitment to the role
