Your opportunity

INCREASE THE AWARENESS AND IMAGE OF KERING IN GREATER CHINA (HK, China, Taiwan and Macao). Work closely with VP APAC Communications & Image to develop and manage a corporate communication plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics.

How you will contribute

• Coordinate Kering social media in China: work with external vendors to create and publish engaging content for WeChat and Weibo (video, news etc)/ identify relevant activation
• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts with business and fashion/ Luxury media
• Manage media inquiries and interview requests/ Create content for press releases / Report to HQ on the coverage
• Evaluate opportunities for partnerships to enhance Kering’s reputation and reinforce positioning
• Run a number of events throughout the year
• Target and secure speaking opportunities for Kering executives at high-level conferences and events to drive thought leadership
• Work closely with Kering HQ communication teams to execute the local strategy.
• Manage the maintenance of the Chinese version of Kering.com
• This role is based in Hong Kong, covers Greater China and reports into the VP Communications & Image for Kering APAC based in Hong Kong

Who you are

• 10 years of corporate communication experience preferably in FMCG/ luxury/ retail industry, and in China
• The ideal candidate will be strategic as well as hands on with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiative
• Strong media network across fashion/ Luxury and business media.
• Digital knowledge & Social media experience.
• The person must be fluent in Simplified and English (oral and written)
