Job Description
Marketing Program Manager
An online social media and social networking service company is seeking an experienced Marketing Program Manager to build and run marketing programs and to manage vendor relationships in events and campaigns for China. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse group of internal teams and drive significant impact toward the ongoing company growth.
Ideal candidates will have marketing experience in social media industries, with effective communication and project management skills. This position is based at Hong Kong, and support programs for China, which will require traveling in country and internationally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as a manager to the China marketing teams by developing customized and scalable marketing solutions
• Strategically manage a portfolio of programs by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors to achieve short-term and long-term objectives
• Drive legal, financial, technological aspects of marketing programs
• Ensure program success through strong performance management and governance methodologies
• Manage complex vendor relationships
• Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work
• Ability to travel in China
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of marketing experience with online / digital media
• Fluent in Putonghua & English
• Project management experience including planning, development, execution, measurement, and optimization
• Program management experience with a clear KPI driven strategy
• Experience with presentation and communication with peers, management, and cross-functional teams
• Experience working and building relationships with cross-functional groups and third parties
• Knowledge of legal, financial and technology components of marketing
• Experience working in a global remote team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in a technology or consumer-oriented environment
• Experience in a program management role
• Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
