VP, Communications – Social Media

My client is a global financial services firm which is a young company, but already have a global presence. HK is their global HQ’s and they are quickly growing and this role will be instrumental in helping to build brand awareness across their global markets. In this Communications role, you will be joining a small team, so the role will be broad, incorporating Social Media, Corporate Communications, creating corporate videos, presentations, events and developing CSR initiatives. Successful candidates must have fluency in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for crafting creative stories through digital and traditional channels  
• Create and execute a global social media strategy that tells the story of the journey, ensures consistency of messaging and strengthens the global brand.
• Work closely with the global offices to roll out corporate materials, presentations, brochures and video.
• There will a number of events throughout the year you will be supporting on, for ideas, planning, organisation and execution.
• Running CSR initiatives across the company.

Requirements:

• Ideally 8 years relevant experience in communications and social media, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential.
• Experience in developing digital content and social media strategies is a MUST
• Knowledge of computer applications and excellent PowerPoint skills
• Must be self motivated, passionate about Communications and want to work in an environment where you can make a difference.
• You will be encouraged to bring new ideas to the table and will have the ability to see those ideas come to life.
