Responsibilities mainly include:

• Translate websites and other materials related to cosmetics and/or fashion into Traditional Chinese
• Perform proofreading and editing
• Perform web check and PDF check
  
  

Different translators may work together in real time on a translation platform, depending on the nature of the task.

Requirements:

• University degree or above, majoring in translation, language or relevant disciplines; undergraduates are also welcome
• Native in Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong and/or Taiwan) with strong language skills in both English and Chinese
• Good knowledge of cosmetics and fashion terminology
• Experience in translation, editing and/or proofreading is an advantage
• Experience with Trados and other CAT tools is preferred
• Detail-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines, flexible to adapt to different linguistic style requirements

This is a freelance role so you may work from home. However, we might invite you to our office to work on specific projects or for training.
