Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the clinic drug dispensary and chemotherapy procedures.
• Keeping accurate records of dispensary stock in and out.
• To store dispensary stock in an orderly manner and monitor expiring items.
• To maintain standards as set by local regulatory bodies.
• To explain how medication or supplements should be taken by the patient according to the prescription.
• Handle various kind of drugs properly and according to regulatory requirements.
• To prepare and dispense drugs accurately and efficiently according to prescription
• Maintain close rapport with doctors, team members and patients.
• Plan, foster and deliver educational/training and development programs for health care professionals.
• Liaise with pharmaceutical companies relating to drug procurement, updated information regarding new drugs and usage, drug/vaccine availabilities, etc.
• Provide periodic reports for management regarding consumption, inventory, costings, etc.
• Required to work shifts or perform on-call duties.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Pharmacy with certificate of registration and a valid practising certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong.
• Supervisory experience would be an asset
• Experience acquired as a pharmacist after registration with recognised overseas registration authorities but prior to registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong will be also be considered.
• Good communication skills with strong capability to manage and motivate team members to deliver elite services.
• Proficiency in oral and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
