Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Optometry
- Registered Optometrist (Part I) from Optometrist Board of Hong Kong
- Relevant experience preferred
- Fluent written and spoken Cantonese and English
- Good computer knowledge
Job Responsibilities:
- To carry out optometric examinations on general eye and low vision patients.
- To determine the prescription for the general eye patients.
- To determine and prescribe the type of low vision aids that would enable the patients to use their residual vision.
- To follow up the performance and the progress of those who have been prescribed with low vision aids.
- To help to maintain the services of the Optical Dispensing Unit.
- To work at the Headquarters Centre or other branches as required by the Centre Manager.
- To perform any other duties assigned by the Centre Manager as and whenever necessary.
