Job Description

Reporting to the Administration Manager, the appointee will be required to:

  • supervise the maintenance of premises improvement projects and/or builder’s works and E&M maintenance projects;
  • perform resources planning according to project program and schedule;
  • prepare report & defect list and monitor renovation/rectification work;
  • manage vendors including property management companies, suppliers, consultants and contractors through effective vendor management for different work locations;
  • work closely with different departments to understand customer needs and overall project requirements;
  • assist in setting up internal procedure and guidelines, as well as providing general administrative support;
  • assist in the procurement process including request for quotations, negotiate with suppliers, recommend best offer in terms of quality, service and cost;
  • identify potential savings opportunities and support cost savings initiatives;
  • perform ad hoc duties as assigned; and
  • work in different satellite offices.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree or above in Business Administration, Facility Management or a related discipline;
  • At least three years’ relevant experience, preferably with experience in facilities management and customer services;
  • Good understanding of supply chain management concepts, such as order management, supplier management, lead time, quality, and etc.;
  • Ability to perform project coordination, scheduling, documentation and process control;
  • Willing to work on roster basis, weekends and public holidays;
  • Proactive, pleasant, customer-oriented and a team player with positive working attitude;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and capable of working under pressure;
  • A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua being an advantage; and
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing.
