Responsibilities:

• Report on merchandising activities regularly; maintain accurate and timely reporting
• Responsible for cost control and shipment on-time delivery
• Involved in business and cost negotiation for the best benefit of the company
• Support project management to cross functional activity required for project execution
• Coordinate with venders to ensure manufacturability of product while maintaining quality, safety and achieving cost targets
• Sourcing of new suppliers to support project development
• Work closely with Internal teams and suppliers to ensure product quality, price objective, production and delivery issue

Required Qualifications:

• University graduate in business administration or engineering disciplines
• At least 5 years of related working experience in home small appliance industry, preferably from Small Domestic Appliance background and work in multinational companies (familiar with Japan market)
• Have good business sense and excellent interpersonal skills
• With engineering background is preferable
• Understand product development cycle and procedure
• Strong sense of responsibility and detail minded
• Ability to resolve issue with manufacturing and have problem-solving skills
• Mature personality, proactive, self-motivated, independent, good team player and able to work under pressure calmly
• Excellent in spoken and written Japanese, English and Mandarin
