Job Description

The Job:

  • Prepare correspondence and reports by typing up drafts from superiors, filling data or information into standard documents, record meeting minutes, perform simple analysis and compile simple statistics, update record and website information etc.
  • Create resident’s file and related logistics for new admission.
  • File correspondence, documents, reports, etc. according to established filling systems.
  • Handle enquiries including telephone enquiries by explaining the Skilled Care Services, home design, fee and charges as well as admission procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to maintenance and repairs matters by arranging appointments with contractors and related records.
  • Ensure availability of medical consumables and sundries, cleansing sundries, stationaries such as diapers, masks, gloves, milk supplement  etc. by stock taking regularly and preparing necessary order documents for superior’s approval.
  • Perform other clerical duties, such as photocopying, maintaining records, registering incoming and outgoing mails, issue receipts, mark invoices as assigned by superiors.
  • Arrange routing for Home van transportation.
  • Assist in handling petty cash.

The Person:

  • 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (Syl. B) and Chinese Language OR 5 subjects obtained Level 2 or above in HKDSEE, including English and Chinese.
  • At least 4 years’ clerical or customer services experience with at least 2 years in customer services industries.
  • Relevant knowledge in elderly services such as common geriatric diseases will be an advantage.
  • PC skills e.g. PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word, Chinese Word Processing and etc.
  • Good typing skills
  • Good communication, co-ordination and interpersonal skills
  • Mature, service oriented, good telephone manner and a team player
  • Attentive to details, systematic and willing to follow through tasks independently
  • Confident and able to communicate / handle enquiries from different customers.
