RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team to achieve budget of sales and net surplus
• Develop all-rounded strategic plan to ensure the implementation be carried out efficiently and effectively
• Initiate opportunities to develop network of sales
• Initiate and coordinate development of promotion plan for each sales function
• Take charge of category management and drive merchandising strategies to achieve sourcing objects that align with business growth
• Source new up-cycling or environmental-friendly products
• Assure quality services internally and externally
• Provide requirements of store design and work with Admin team to ensure the completion of the renovation project on time
• Make sure the repair and maintenance fulfill the requirements at all stores in view of customer services, health and safety
• Train the store team in customer service, corporate standard and product merchandising
• Provide timely and accurate reports and forecast with action plans to achieve targets
• Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by supervisor and management

REQUIREMENTS

• An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
• Bachelor degree, preferably in field of Supply Chain/ Warehouse Operations/ Logistics Management; preferably in multi-national company related to Retail industry
• At least 8 years' experience in sales and merchandising field, and at least 5 years in management level. A good understanding of retail sector and on-line sales is an advantageous
• Initiative, organized, responsible, detail minded, with strong sense of commitment and able to work under pressure
• With excellent leadership, people management & staff development skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skill in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong understanding of budgeting and P&L
• Holder of valid Hong Kong driving license is a plus
• Occasional travel is required when necessary
• Working Location: Kwai Chung
