Functions and duties

To ensure smooth handling of daily sales activities for the HK station through the following areas:

• Assist the General Manager to manage sales activities and achieve sales targets
• Develop customer base and manage routine sales activities in the assigned area according to key performance indicators (KPI) and guidelines set by the General Manager and the Management.
• Achieve sales tonnage and revenue targets, increase market share for designated segment, create Company value and customers’ perception, and enhance corporate brand.
• Identify and recognize tactical priority in business development according to company strategy and sales policy, select and maintain potential customers who mainly focus on free sales capacity, and/or high yield cargo.
• Work and collaborate closely with Customer Service team to maximize the end-results of each freighter operations.
• Monitor, analysis, and report market situation in the assigned sales area, identify and recommend new business opportunities.
• Establish analytical and forecast system for well monitoring the customers’ profiles and performance fulfillment, forecast for upcoming business trend.

Requirements

• University graduate
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales and Business Development field, preferably in airline or logistics industry.
• Good understanding of basic principles of market economy, logistics and international trade.  Knowledge in regulations and practices relevant to the airfreight industry in a plus.
• Strong interpersonal communication and sound negotiation skills in dealing with different types of customers, across different functions and nationalities.
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin.  Proficiency in English language.  Previous exposure to an English-speaking working environment is desirable
• Adaptability to work under pressure and in a multicultural environment.
• Pleasant, open-minded, result-oriented, strong numeric sense and self-motivated.
