We are looking for a Chemist / Assistant Chemist to join our subsidiary company FT Laboratories, in order to assist with the chemical and physical tests of construction materials. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, mature and cooperative.

Job Description:

• Responsible for carrying out laboratory's chemical and environmental testing operations
• Testing and Reporting production
• Evaluation of test and / or calibration results and uncertainty of measurement
• Implementation, maintenance and improvement of management system
• Planning of tests and calibration work, if required
• Reporting opinion and interpretation, if required
• Method Development and modification
• Supervision of junior staff

Requirement:

• Higher diploma or above in Applied Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Environmental Studies or related disciplines
• At least 2 years experience in Laboratory testing
• Familiar with analytical instrument, experienced in operating XRF/ AAS/ spark OES/ CSN analyser/ UV-visible Spectrophotometer is a definite advantage
• Knowledge of ISO17025
• Self-motivated, mature, cooperative and logical mind
