Job description

• Conduct R&D works on surface coatings and new coating materials process development for consumer electronics and various consumer products
• Conduct materials characterisation and testing of the coatings/materials and its functional properties using advanced instrument such as scanning electron microscope, x-ray fluorescence, and electrochemical potentiostatic analyser.
• Optimize coating process and operating parameters required for the above developed coatings/materials
•  Follow up R&D project enquire, provide feedback and initiate recommendation on coating processes, laboratory procedures and testing issues

         Assist in implementation of products quality checking

         Keep good laboratory records and maintain best practice in laboratory operations

Job requirements

•  Diploma/ Higher Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, or related science and engineering discipline
• Working experience in laboratory testing and materials characterization techniques has added advantage
•  Initiative, independent, analytical, patient and able to work under pressure
•  Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, intermediate spoken Putonghua is preferred
• Good PC knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
