Duties

• Responsible for gold trading and market making for bank’s own customers.
• Manage a book of OTC and SGE (Shanghai Gold Exchange) contracts to achieve personal and desk profit targets.
• Explore other business opportunities and strategies to maximize revenue
• Provide market information and analysis to management and sales team.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments as required

Requirements

• Degree holder or above with minimum 5 years' precious metal trading experience (onshore trading experience a plus)
• Familiar with trading system / software and qualified under SFO for handling Regulated Activities Types 1, 4 & 9, with TMA qualification is a must
• Strong sense of compliance and risk control
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Summit and MS Office, Knowledge in VBA will be a plus
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Both Cantonese and Mandarin)
