Responsibilities

• Assisting the Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on a range of tasks, to include:
• Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
• Estimating and producing cost plans
• Measurement of works trades and system installations in production of Bills of Quantities
• Drafting the procurement documentation
• Checking and analyzing the tenders
• Drafting the tender report and compiling contract documentation
• Dealing with variations and the change control processes, negotiating less financially significant or complex matters
• Conducting cost checks and valuations
• Drafting monthly financial/cost reports
• Attending site checks and measurements
• Preparing final accounts
• Liaising with the client, contractors, designers, etc.
• Ensuring all deliverables complying with company quality management system and ISO requirements

 Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or High Certificate or High Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Fresh graduate to 3 years' experience in related fields
• Sound technical knowledge and experience across the full range of quantity surveying duties including: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Administration, Variations assessment and Final Account close-out
• Distinct advantage if possessing relevant consultancy experience/background and undertaking pathway leading to Professional qualification in quantity surveying
• Team player with excellent leadership and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiation, influence and persuade others
