Job Description

Our client is one of the digital platforms developer with range of digital platforms or e-platforms for clients’ business (such as : online advertising portal, etc.), the new opportunities now exists for experienced information system development specialist to join the company.

 

(1)  Information Systems Manager

      Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for build and develop computer systems for the company (including new business computer information systems and existing systems); implementation of technologies for systems (such as : mobile technology, cloud technology, etc.); keeping up to date with the latest technologies.
  • Collecting and evaluating users information, including users need and users requirement (i.e. both external clients and internal clients) as well as system features and functionality to ensure these new business computer information systems facilities and meet these needs.
  • Planning, developing and implementing the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) budget and obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness, researching and installing new systems (if necessary).
  • Scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
  • Guaranteeing the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision, etc; offering users appropriate support and advice.
  • Ensuring that users adhere to software licensing laws.
  • Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems; providing secure access to the network for remote users, securing data from internal and external attack.
  • Lead, recruit, mentor and train ICT staff.
  • Managing business process re-engineering entails re-designing the way the work is done to meet the organisation's goals and reduce costs; deal with change management.

      Requirement :

  • Degree in computer science or related fields (such as : information technology, information science, software engineering, business management with computer science, etc.).
  • With wide range of relevant experience and knowledge for new business computer system set-up and development are highly preferred for this job position (including software, hardware, programming, systems design, systems development, networking, operating systems, PC support, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of programming as well as analytical skills (such as : SQL, Oracle, Sequel, Visual Basic, C++ and Java, PHP, UML, HTML, Web-based technologies, etc.)
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience; experience in build-up and develop new business computer system is highly preferred.
  • Ability to contribute to achieve company/business goals and objectives and implement strategies.
  • Strong capacity to work with people at all levels.
  • You will need an understanding of the capabilities and constraints of technologies and resource implications in terms of budgets.
  • Good team player and team work, good communication and leadership skills.
  • Lead, recruit and train ICT staff (e.g. analysts, developers, other computer-related staff, etc.).

 

(2)  Systems Analyst

       Responsibilities :

  • To design new IT solutions, modify, enhance or adapt existing systems and integrate new features to improve business efficiency and productivity.
  • Undertake product development for business computer information system; implement, configure and test feasible solutions.
  • Liaise between and report to internal and external clients and stakeholders, including clients, colleagues and business management, throughout the development process.
  • Conduct cost analysis and agree the timeframe to implement the proposed solution. Managing specify and shape the system requirements and operations, the user interface and output and present the proposal to the clients.
  • Adopt to different programming languages, liaising extensively with external or internal clients.
  • Analyzing clients' (both internal and external clients) existing systems and business models.
  • Mapping and documenting interfaces between legacy and new systems.
  • Understanding software development lifecycle.
  • Translating clients’ requirements into highly specified project briefs.
  • Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Conducting requirements analysis and preparing specific proposals for modified or replacement systems.
  • Developing solutions and related products.
  • Producing project feasibility and costing reports.
  • Presenting proposals to clients.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (such as : supervisor, colleagues, clients, software/hardware developers, etc.) during initial phase till project completion and launch.
  • Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Drawing up, supervising, documenting testing schedules for complete systems.
  • Overseeing implementation of a new system including data migration.
  • Planning and working flexibly to deadlines.
  • Supporting users on change control and system updates.
  • Providing training and user manuals to users of a new system.

       Requirement : 

  • Degree in information technology or related fields (such as : computer science, information science, software engineering, business management with computer science, etc.).
  • Strong working knowledge of programming as well as analytical skills (such as : SQL, Oracle, Sequel, Visual Basic, C++ and Java, PHP, UML, HTML, Web-based technologies, etc.).
  • Have a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices, meet client deadlines, keeping up to date with technical and industry developments, high level of responsibility, get involved in multiple simultaneous projects, which provides plenty of variety.
  • You'll need to demonstrate interest in, and a clear understanding of technology and computer information management systems, preferably with evidence of relevant qualifications outside your degree studies.
  • You will need broad knowledge of hardware, software and programming, ability to learn quickly, ability to contribute to a team effort, a logical approach to problem solving, good interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail, has business awareness and methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind. Good presentation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, planning and negotiating skills, initiative and self-confidence, an interest in the way organisational processes work.
