Due to the strong consumer buying power and expansion of store operations in APAC region, the Asia Pacific team is seeking for an experienced Assistant/Accounting Manager to join the Hong Kong headquarter office.

About the Job

Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for looking after different business entities, the Hong Kong based regional office and travel retail stores.

• Manage daily accounting functions and perform month-end financial reporting, year-end audit and tax compliance for multiple brands
• Maintain good relationship and effective communication with other departments for consolidation reporting
• Assist in systems upgrade process, internal procedures and policies and maintain accuracy of accounting documentation
• Work along with the controlling team for budget and business planning
• Coach and supervise accountants
• Prepare Ad Hoc reports and analysis as required

Skills and Experience Required

• A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or ACCA is a must
• Solid work experiences in MNC, preferably in retail industries
• Strong IFRS and accounting knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Great team management and coaching skills with high level of empathetic understanding
• Effective communication, presentation, analytical and project management skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
