Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounting and related duties independently
• Prepare management reports, analysis and account schedules on a timely basis
• Prepare monthly returns on Financial Resources Rules (FRR) and ensure that FRR returns are accurate and complied with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines
• Prepare group budgets, forecasts and monthly operational review reports with commentary
• Facilitate system reports development and enhancement
• Prepare and manage daily cash flow position and liquidity
• Implement and uphold accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in overseeing and preparing tax and statutory compliance matters
• Maintain effective internal controls and safeguard for accounting functions and reporting integrity
• Liaise with auditors and other professional parties
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy or related disciplines, preferably with professional accountancy qualifications, such as HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
• 3 -5 years working experiences in financial or management accounting or external audit, preferably in securities or investment banking industry
• Self-initiative, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Proactive team player with good interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
• High integrity and has strong sense of responsibility
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese (includes both Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Knowledge of Sun System would be an advantage
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Less experience will be considered as Accountant
