This is a role requiring both fundamental and quantitative research skills. Candidate should be able to understand financial statements and be able to gather, arrange and analyze industry and market price data to come up with investment ideas.

Job Description:

• Prepare regular research reports for A/H shares under coverage
• Prepare industry reports and financial valuation models using Bloomberg, Wind, annual reports or other public data sources
• Management communication on covered companies, site-visits to PRC or overseas may be required occasionally
• Assist in quantitative research tasks for head of Investment Department

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting with strong quantitative research skills. Candidates from Computer Science, Statistics or Science and Engineering background with CFA or similar qualifications will also be considered
• Candidates who can demonstrate strong skills on statistics, data visualization or machine learning using programming languages (e.g. Python) will be considered first. Please briefly describe any data science project experience and your scope of interests in your CV
• Securities/futures trading experience will be an advantage. Please feel free to mention your achievement in your CV
• Passion in financial market and trading, good business sense, logical thinking and continuous learning attitude is a must
• 2 years of working experience, preferably in the financial industry
• Proficiency in English and Chinese including Mandarin
