Responsibilities:

• Setting up workstation with computer and necessary peripheral devices;
• Checking computer hardware to ensure functionality;
• Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications;
• Partnering with Headquarters IT in Pittsburgh, organize, schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work;
• Maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance;
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment;
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.);
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes;
• Maintain IT infrastructure documentation;
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders;
• Assist Product Development System Support team for daily system operation and system support;
• Conduct Product Development system training and prepare system training material by requests;
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the superior.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related filed;
• At least 3 year experience in computer networks and system maintenance;
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations;
• Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience;
• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required;
• Expert knowledge of MS Office suite;
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin preferred.
