A global financial institution is currently looking for a Data Center Technician to build their data centers from sketch in Hong Kong and APAC.

Responsibilities:

• Setup, build and maintain data centers
• Install, cable and label data center equipment including network, server and storage devices
• Install ethernet and fiber optic cable
• Identify, analyze and repair products failures
• Maintain cleanliness of working environment
• Perform inventory management

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of data center technology design and configuration
• Experience in network, server, storage equipment installation, troubleshooting and repairing in data center environment
• Strong knowledge of telecom structure cabling standards
• Experience in networking cabling, rack/stack, LAN, WAN and VLAN protocols
• Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
