Our client, a well-known insurance company in Hong Kong, is looking for a high caliber to join the group.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to design, implement the approved risk appetite framework and that the appropriate culture, governance and oversight arrangements are in place to manage effectively the risks in the function achieving its objectives
• Support the Head of Operations in planning and coordinating work distribution, in formulating and implementing work procedures, identifying customer service enhancement for continuous improvement to achieve the section’s service standard and objective.
• Solid experience with sales channel and provide various prestige underwriting services, especially in HNW business
• Hands-on experience on Underwriting end-to-end process in order to bring up prestige service to partners for enhancing mutual communications and facilitate the underwriting process
• Act as a key party on operations team and work with other departments for various project related to Underwriting
• Preparing of monthly operations reports for management and handle ad-hoc underwriting projects as assigned

Requirements: 

• Degree Holder with professional insurance qualification
• Minimum 8 years solid underwriting experience in life insurance with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
• Strong product knowledge with market sense in life insurance business
• Self-driven person with strong communication, presentation and problem solving techniques
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Ability to be multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-pace environment
• Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
