Opus Talent Solutions is working with an international wealth management company to find a new Events Senior Manager. You will be responsible for driving and delivering the corporate sales and events strategy in Hong Kong and China. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and working closely with local sales teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their creativity and innovation to generate new ideas and enhance the customer experience and generate leads. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan, produce, manage and execute events and marketing campaigns to retain and nurture existing clients and grow the client database by targeting valuable new audiences
• Prepare event strategy and calendar for Hong Kong and China
• Event production, management and execution, including venue, agency and supplier sourcing and management
• Build and retain the relationships with key business partners and affiliate companies
• Regular analysis and reporting of regional event marketing plan and performance using ROI and KPI’s
• Identify and deliver sponsorship opportunities to generate quality new leads, sales and build the brand
• Manage and drive client relationship events
• Utilise various marketing campaigns, including social media, to promote upcoming events
• Assist Head of Marketing to build brand awareness and positioning

 Essential qualities:

• Enjoy working in a fast-paced international environment
• Experience managing events in Hong Kong and in China on your own
• Experience in FS, finance, wealth management, or investment industry is preferred
• Strong event and project management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
