Job Description

Responsibilities:

Support South Deals HR Manager to deliver quality strategic and operational services to South Deals Partners and staff members, e.g.,:

  • Support performance and remuneration review from arranging the logistics to providing relevant materials and analysis for annual review meetings;
  • Administer the firm / Deals specific performance management systems;
  • Produce various HR related reports on regular and ad hoc basis;
  • Develop and manage strong relationship with internal clients at the corresponding level;
  • Follow up on graduate recruitment, experienced hire, global mobility, leave management and talent management cases / issues from an LoS HR perspective
  • Conduct briefing to new joiners on the firm’s performance management philosophy and system;

  • Conduct exit interview with leavers.
  • Support National Deals HR Leader to implement people strategies and national programmes on required basis;
  • Travel to Guangzhou and Shenzhen is required occasionally

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Social Sciences or related disciplines;
  • Minimum 3 years of general HR experience, preferably within a professional service or multinational corporation environment; candidate with less experience would be considered as an Assistant Officer level;
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese), fluency in Mandarin is an advantage;
    Strong literacy in computer applications, in particular MS Excel and MS Powerpoint;
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and consultative skills with an ability to build strong client relationships;
  • Strong client service focus at all levels of the role with demonstrated resourcefulness, initiative and flexibility;
  • Proactive and the ability to work independently; self-initiator
  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality at all levels of the role; and
  • A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure and managing conflicting demands.
