Responsibilities: 

• Maintain current knowledge of the HKMA and FFIEC anti-money laundering rules and regulations as well OFAC/UNATMO regulations.
• Ensure that the Bank’s AML/CTF and Sanction Compliance Manuals are followed.
• Utilize AML Tracking software systems and other reports to detect suspicious activities.
• Assist to conduct AML Compliance review/ testing.
• Updates AML/CTF and OFAC/UNATMO Master Logs.
• Reviews customer account activities periodically on:
• Products and services offered by the bank, such as: trade finance, foreign exchange, concentration accounts, lending, electronic banking, monetary instruments, pouch activities, etc.
• Customers and entities, such as: professional service providers, politically exposed persons, non-governmental organizations, charities, non-bank financial institutions, non-resident aliens, international business corporations, etc.
• Prepare Case Investigative Write-ups.
• Assist branch/department personnel AML/CTF and Sanction compliance issues. 

 Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience in banking environment.
• Working knowledge of Bank Operations including International and Foreign Exchange.
• Sound knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations pertinent to bank such as HKMA and FFIEC anti-money laundering rules and regulations as well as OFAC/ UNATMO regulations will be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good organization skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and make appropriate decisions regarding complex cases.
