Job Description
Job Purpose:
Act as the first HR contact point for the assigned business accounts to provide/implement effective and timely advice/solutions on full spectrum of Human Resources activities
Key Accountabilities:
In addition to following Pedder Group’s policies and procedures, key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Recruitment & Selection
- Manage all aspects of recruitment activities. Streamline and monitor recruitment and selection process to maintain an effective and efficient recruitment process at all times which meets the needs to the business
- Identify ways to improve Pedder Group's ability to attract talent
- Monitor company headcount level and ensure recruitment activities are carried out within budget
- Implement improvement projects to enable an ongoing supply of quality candidates to meet the company’s staffing needs
Performance Management
- Monitor the performance management program (PMP) to ensure the appraisal review process meets the company’s standard on equity, completeness and objectivity
- Support the Senior Human Resources Manager in strategizing, developing and executing improvements or development plans/actions pertaining to the PMP results
Relationship Management
- Manage HR programs designed to foster staff relations
- Provide advice to line managers on staffing issues, performance management, compensation and benefit issues
- Manager grievance, engage in counseling and disciplinary discussions. Provide support and coaching to staff and managers.
- Establish an effective communication mechanism between HR department and various departments, and maintain regular and open communication
Human Resources Operations
- Ensure all Human Resources activities comply with the legal and statutory requirements
- To know, enforce, and educate teams on all appropriate personnel policies, labour laws, security and safety procedures (in partnership with line manager)
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures and ensure they are effectively executed and communicated to all level of staff and comply with local legal requirements
- Ensure all Human Resources actions such as promotion, salary adjustments, transfer, resignation & termination are executed in accordance with the company policies
Other Duties
- To undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the Senior Human Resources Manager
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Human Resources or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferably gained from sizeable retail company
- Effective communicator, initiative and compliance sensitive
- Attentive to details with the ability to work under pressure
- Well-versed of local employment ordinance
- Excellent in both spoken and written English and Chinese with conversational Putonghua
- Strong computer skills at advance level, typically on MS Excel and other office applications
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior HR Executive
