Job Description

Reporting to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for day to day site supervision of the group’s high quality industrial building development projects in Hong Kong. Major duties are:

• Overall site supervision including, but not limited to, inspection in details, checking of setting out, structural works, builder works, fitting out works, report, interpret and record concisely.
• Liaise closely with the Architect, and other consultants of the project team to identify, offer solutions, reach consensus among all stake holders of the project for drawing conflicts/site mis-match or any other site problems encountered.
• Ensuring that quality and progress of the site works are complying with the contract specifications, and meets the expectations of the Management.
• The incumbent shall be required to station at project site, and may rotate between other project sites as assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma/Diploma in Building Studies or equivalent from one of the recognized institutions;
• AMHKIE or MICW preferred.
• Minimum 4 years post-experience in building construction projects.
• Possesses knowledge in Buildings Department statutory procedures and Site Supervision Plan;
• Be conversant with HKIS Standard Building Contract forms.
• Sound knowledge of site safety and quality procedures.
• Be able to inspect in detail, report concisely, interpret clearly and record completely;
• Good interpersonal skills.
• If have more experience can apply Clerk of Works.
