Job Description
Responsibilities:
The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing a small team of engineering staff in Product Development Department with the following scopes of work:
- Product development and enhancement
- Assist in the co-ordination of projects on development of new products and enhancement of existing products
- Co-ordinate the new product testing including formulate test plan and compile test report
- Closely liaise with vendors for product testing, development and enhancement
- Manage the small engineering team
- Manage and enhance the daily operation of the small team
- Enhance the skills and knowledge of team staff and other department's technical staff
- Manage the department's technical problem solving
- Handle and resolve issues on technical solution and trouble shooting analysis related to faulty products and services
- Recommend on enhancement of performance and reliability of products and services
Requirements:
- University graduate in Electronic Engineering
- At least 3 years solid experience in telecommunication industry or electronic device manufacturing industry is preferred, of which 1 year must be in managerial level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-minded, self-motivated and independent in problem solving
- Well-organized, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS office applications especially MS Words and Excel
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
