TIC Design is seeking for a Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer for a variety of creative travel and mini home appliances concept lines. We offer a contemporary, relaxed and friendly workplace, a five days work week and an above average compensation.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual Electrical and Mechanical Design of a product
• Detailed Mechanical and Electrical design of new products, together with a team of industrial designer and project engineer
• Prepare production of manufacturing and engineering drawings for parts and assemblies
• Specification of material requirements based on design parameters
• Liaising with suppliers during detail design phase of the project
• Review prototypes, test / verify performance for final approval before tooling start
• Prepare related technical document, conducts analysis of engineering design to meet product and manufacturing requirements
• Defining machining and assembly guidelines for newly developed products
• Monitor tooling and first of sample date to ensure project is on time
• Manage the technical side of product life cycle, with quality improvements and modifications

Skills:

• Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• Practical skills in Cero
• Minimum 3 years working in a design engineer role
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal forming, injection molding, die-casting and assembly etc.
• Experience in DFM analysis, molding processes, plastic mold and metal tools
• Experience in mechanism design and/ or mechatronics design for consumer products, such as mini-household appliances
• Good command in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• 5 days stationed in Dongguan factory
