ESF Educational Services Limited (ESL), a subsidiary to the English Schools Foundation, delivers a highly successful programme of after-school English and other language teaching and sports coaching for children across Hong Kong, and also operates five international kindergartens.

Responsibilities

Marketing

• Manage and contribute to execution of materials in keeping with ESF Style guidelines using Adobe Suite of design software such as printed brochures, flyers and posters and online EDMs and newsletters, print advertising for magazine and MTR display ads, etc.
• Assist in maintenance of social media across all programmes including minimum 2x per week postings on each of our FB pages
• Evaluate and edit English/Chinese materials
• Familiar with Google SEM ad buying and Facebook advertising
• Copywriting for press releases to media outlets
• Collect and submit weekly content to ESF School newsletters. Maintain contact database for newsletters
• Assist in research of appropriate media outlets and marketing opportunities as well as collect and catalogue competitive data across all ESF after school programmes

Digital and online

• Responsible for website structure, contents and digital partnerships, in English and Chinese
• Responsible for representing ESF Sports & Language in the redevelopment of all websites
• Oversee and manage automated emailing system Emarsys
• Actively contribute to improvements in the IT marketing infrastructure
• Oversee and manage all digital portfolios, including image, video, graphic design
• Oversee all media buying processes and procedures

Management and Admin

• Be a member of management team and participate in all meetings, projects, as required
• Manage a small team of graphic designer and marketing assistant, including day to day supervision
• Conduct period performance and development reviews of the team
• Continuously refine and improve marketing strategy
• Execute agreed strategy to an agreed budget

Requirements

Minimum Education: College Degree

Minimum Experience: 3-8 years relevant experience (must have marketing and graphic design experience for a fast moving service sector)

Abilities

• Candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English and Cantonese and be able to fluently proof read materials from English to Cantonese
• Candidate should have experience taking materials from design to print stage including oversight and management of preparing files for print, paper/material selection and finish options.
• Candidate should be able to function in a busy work environment, working on several open projects at one time
• Experience with and familiarity of local media outlets is a plus

Knowledge

• Candidate should be skilled in using a MAC-based Adobe Suite of Design Software including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and be able to demonstrate their abilities
• Candidate should have some experience working with web design and be familiar with editing web content using a content management system
