Job Posting Details

The appointee will serve as a member of the Library’s systems support team to provide technical support to the IT infrastructure and learning facilities. S/He will assist in systems implementation and servers administration; and evaluate, develop, deploy and maintain library applications to support library services and operations. Shift duty is required.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, or related disciplines, and preferably experience in server administration, managing virtual machines, mobile apps support, and Web, PHP, Python and Java programming; and knowledge of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems, and networking. Hands-on experience with 3D printing, virtual reality and facial recognition technologies will be advantageous. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to service. Non-degree holders with substantial years of relevant work experience and fresh university graduates are also welcome to apply. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
