Duties:

• Editing and proofreading of children books and children magazines;

• Support in-house team, writers, artists, designers and other parties in all activities leading to publication;

• Negotiate and monitor timescales for stages in the publishing process;

• Assist in marketing planning and related execution

Requirements:

• A university degree in Chinese language, English language or relevant discipline;
• Teaching experiences in kindergarten or primary school is an advantage;
• Candidates with 1-2 years of editorial experiences can be considered as the position of editor;
• Good command of written and oral English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
• Good command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word-processing;
• Knowledge and an interest in book industry is an advantage;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet established deadlines
