Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Conduct experimental works on fabrication of laboratory setup for electrolytic plasma finish process
  • Conduct experimental works on the metal polishing by electrolytic plasma finish process
  • Perform R&D works on the experimental setup for performance testing
  • Conduct the material characterization of treated metallic object through electrolytic plasma finish process
  • Perform verification and performance testing of treated metallic object
  • Prepare proposals and reports, coordinate and participate in project meetings


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related engineering discipline from a local university
  • Experience in material characterization techniques such as SEM-EDX, XRD, surface roughness measurement, gloss measurement and etc.
  • Experience/Skill in Electrochemistry, surface finishing, metal polishing and Plasma related technology, added advantages
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Mature, self-motivated, confident and to work under pressure
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Note:

This is a position funded by the Internship Programme of the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) R&D project from November 2018 to April 2020.
