Our client is a global factory base Hong Kong's premier largest scale plastic injection tooling service provider, with 12,000 square feet production base in Hong Kong. They are now looking for a Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer (Plastic Injection Tooling | Attractive Package) for their business operations. Our client supports a portfolio of precision tool production and is rapidly expanding, newly created role reporting to Project Engineering Group Manager.

Job Descriptions

• Contribute in early state involvement (ESI) for tooling quotation to corporate clients;
• Create and design tool designs working closely with China mold designing team
• Responsible in Design For Manufacturability
• Follow up with monitoring on project process from production of the tooling, trials to shipping using project management system;
• Conduct regular communications with China factory on supports, trialing, training, scheduling and quality 
• Contributing with engineering corporate services, reports and enquirers promptly; 
• Occasionally travel to China factory (day trip) for plastic injection tooling trails.

Requirements 

• Degree holders in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline OR Diploma holders in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering 
• 8 years’ experience in Plastic Injection Tooling will be an advantages;
• Self-motivated, team player, be able to work under pressure and in a fast pace working environment;
• Solid knowledge of PRO-E and Solid Works are essential 
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is essential.
