Ecommerce Director - Luxury Retail

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a leading luxury retail business. They are looking to appoint an Ecommerce leader to be based in their HK office.

The role is integral to the company's success and the successful candidate will need to have strong experience in Online and traditional retail.

As the Ecommerce Director, your duties will include:

• Determining which website format to use

• Range & assortment planning in conjunction with internal planning teams.

• Reducing supply chain costs with regard to shipping

• Developing affiliate marketing programs

• Implementing online security and coordinating all online transaction and marketing efforts

• Work with Digital and Marketing teams

In addition, you will be responsible for the strategic planning & implementation of the online business plan and will manage this while constantly improving the profitability of the retailer and communicating this across the business.

It is essential that the Ecommerce Director controls all aspects of the company's online business. This involves website maintenance, re-negotiating contracts with suppliers & payment services and staying up to date on software / data management trends. You will ensure that the end-to-end online sales proposition is optimised to deliver an excellent customer experience.
