Draughtsman (2-Year Contract) [Ref.: CLPE-PE-SPSPM-DM]

We are looking for energetic and dedicated individuals to join our Power Engineering Branch of CLP Engineering Limited. Reporting to the Project Manager - Supply Point Project, the appointees will be responsible for the following duties:

Major Duties: 

• Update AM/FM records to reflect changes in cable route, size and joint based on relevant engineering standards, regulations and CLP’s requirements
• Prepare the cable route printout for frontline workers as daily work reference
• Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) system to ensure that all standards and requirements are fulfilled
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements: 

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in engineering related disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience
• High quality of draughtsmanship and proficiency in AutoCAD
• Sound knowledge in Micro-station applications is preferable
• Knowledge of CLP AM/FM system would be an advantage
• Familiar with relevant electrical engineering standards, regulations and drawing techniques
• Self-motivated, a good team player, able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Candidates with lower qualifications but extensive experience will be considered for the position at a lower grade
