My Client are a Large multi-national Financial services company. They are seeking a senior application Security Engineer to join their team.

Senior Application Security Engineer

Your Role

• Advise business stakeholders and various application development teams on proper security in their Software Development Lifecycle, strategic use of infrastructure technologies
• Must have been exposed to application security processes and technology
• Admin tasks related to security toolset used by application Security team
• Verifying vulnerabilities reported by security capabilities
• Monitoring vendor/partner performance in addressing application risks
• Raising awareness to Business Units and Application Owners about relevant application security processes
• Supporting CISO/BISO organisation in achieving security compliance
• Providing security consultancy around DevSecOps implementation and integration with AppSec capabilities
• Actively representing Application Security at teleconferences and meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Providing metrics to support risk posture assessments
• Performing code reviews

Your Skills and Experience 

• Minimum 6 years of professional IT experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• Minimum 4 years of Web/mobile development or Information Security background
• Hands-on implementation / administration experience
• CompTIA A+ / GWEB / CISSP / GXPN certification preferred
• Expertise on securing DevOps CI, CD pipelines in the context of mobile / web development
• Exposure to cloud security industry best practices
• Experience working across business units and geographical boundaries to engage team members
