Nakama have partnered with a leading global financial institution that are looking at hiring a Cyber Security Operations Manager to join their team. This newly created role will be a key hire for the organisation as they will be working closely with the global team in providing services supporting the cyber security threats.

You will need to have a strong background in developing, managing and maintaining cyber security service lines and a strong understanding of business impact collaborating with wider cyber security and IT teams.

Strong technical background and knowledge on enterprise level platforms, scripting and development tools and cloud platforms is essential in preventing internal and external attacks and cyber security breaches.

Key responsibilities and experience required –

• Leading a small to medium sized team of highly skilled cyber security professionals
• Developing, manager and maintaining cybersecurity operations service lines
• Collaborating with the wider cyber security teams and IT teams to understand, prevent and minimise threats against the organisation
• Look for continuous improvement to the organisation and landscape to ensure maximum efficacy for cyber security resources
• Excellent understanding of cyber security frameworks, standards and methodology such as OWASP, PCI DSS, ISO2700x series
• Strong technical background and understanding of scripting and programming, enterprise technology infrastructure, tooling and platforms and cloud infrastructure
• Industry recognised cyber security related certification is an added benefit
