Our client, a public utilities company is looking for high calibre IT professional to take up the new role.

Responsibilities:-

• Manage, troubleshoot and support IT infrastructure with following strong technical background and knowledge on some of followings areas.
• Unix Systems (RedHat Linux 5/6, HPUX 11, AIX 6.1, Solaris 11).
• Database Servers (Oracle 11g, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2014, DB2).
• Microsoft Windows Server (2003/2008/2012) and clusters.
• VMware 5.5 or above Virtualization Infrastructure.
• WebSphere and MQ.
• Oracle PeopleSoft Application.
• Oracle EBusiness Suites.
• Design, optimize and troubleshoot database systems and related issues.
• Develop various Standards and Guidelines for Operating Systems, Database Systems, etc.
• Uphold IT Standards and Policies for Operating Systems, Databases Systems, etc.
• Review Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Procedures with respective stakeholder.
• Projects and vendors management.

Requirements:-

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of in-depth experience in IT Infrastructure support, of which 2 years should be at the senior position in design, optimization, performance tuning and troubleshooting of databases such as IBM DB2 v9.7 or above, Oracle DB v11g or above, Microsoft SQL v2008 or above.
• Self-initiative and work with passion and a can-do attitude.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet defined schedule/deadline.
• Good team player.
• Good technical and project management.
• Sound problem solving and analytical skill.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese preferably including Putonghua.
• Experience in supporting sizeable and complicated IT infrastructure is an advantage.
• Possession of Certified Professional of IT (CPIT) certification is an advantage.
