Job Description
Job Duties:
- Carry out data centre operational tasks according to shift schedule or at required timeframe
- Perform operation related alarm monitoring, system performance monitoring and health check to ensure system/services availability and proper functioning of supporting services
- Perform inventory and logistic control, access and security control for data centre operation
- Perform operation related tasks (e.g. job running, backup tasks, failover or maintenance task) running, task result validation, task result recording and escalating/handling the outstanding issues
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Form 5 or above with IT-related subject’s studies
- At least 2 - 5 years IT operation support
- Experience in UNIX/ Windows/ Linux or PC environment
- Experience in Data Centre support is a definitive advantage
- A good team player and able to work independent
- 7 x 24 shift duty is required
- Able to communicate in English and Cantonese
