Key Responsibilities: 

• Identify, develop and implement risk strategies, management framework, policies and procedures appropriate for the nature, scale and complexity of the entity’s business activities
• Oversee legal, compliance and risk departments to ensure their work policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements
• Govern the risk control processes and structure to ensure they are effective and up-to-date according to regulatory guidelines
• Identify risk issues raised and initiate actions to sustain the risk management control
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to understand the related business products, systems and working process in order to identify potential risks in different kinds of risk areas
• Participate in different new projects or product development exercises to plan and manage concerning risk framework
• Work closely with risk owners for escalating key risk issues to senior management, risk committee & board of directors to promote and sustain sound risk culture
• Perform any other tasks as assigned

 Requirements: 

• Degree holder in Finance, Econometrics or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in financial/insurance risk management is an advantage
• Qualification in financial risk management such as FRM or CFA is preferred
• Strong problem-solving, effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as a team player
• Self-motivated and result driven, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent command of Mandarin , Chinese and English
• Presentable, excellent analytical mind, flexible and able to work under pressure
• Based in Hong Kong, occasional travel to other parts of PRC and USA are required
• Immediate available is highly preferred
