In this role, you have the opportunity to:

Join highly successful Supplier Quality Assurance team, manage the Quality Systems at the suppliers and Philips HealthTech meet relevant Purchasing Controls requirements, including all QMS relevant Purchasing Controls processes, systems and procedures, as well as Q&R processes indirectly related to Purchasing Controls. Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Suppliers’ Quality Assurance processes to ensure high quality and compliance. SQA is accountable and responsible for supplier audits, external inspections or audits of Purchasing, and training.

You are responsible for:

• Applies Philips Excellence practices to identify and solve major supplier quality issues where simple analysis of Supplier Quality data is required.
• Leads KAR related assignments within Business Group and specific market.
• Applies multi-disciplinary approach and knowledge basic Supplier Quality principles, theories and concepts aims to plan and manage ASL Management, Auditing, SCAR Coordination, Performance Monitoring, APQP and Quality Transition Plans.
• Formulates the Supplier Quality solution based upon Supplier Quality feasibility studies.
• Frequently interacts with functional peer groups, demonstrating the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
• Leads projects and manage the small team for fostering collaboration to deliver tasks
• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues, aims identify impact to the value chain (customer, supplier, Philips) and affected stakeholders.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
• Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Builds productive internal and external working relationships with related parties.
• Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
• Able to make decisions based on data and facts.

You will directly report to Senior Manager, Supplier Quality Assurance which station in Hong Kong office.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor Degree or above in Engineering or Science
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management and Continuous Improvement function within a large matrix organization.
• Experience in a regulated area (Domestic Appliance, Medical Device, Automotive) is preferred
• With in-depth knowledge in QMS Relevance Application and Implications: Including ISO 9001, Standards and Regulations
• Experience in the deployment and use of APQP
• Experience with quality systems, quality tools and methodologies
• Have strong communication skills and be competent in meeting customer’s requirements whilst managing the overall expectations.
• Ability to communicate well, oral and written in English
• Positive mind-set, assertive personality, strong character and authority
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
