Key Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but not limited to the followings:

• Strong in copywriting and bilingual translation for PR materials development 
• Assist in organizing Conferences and PR-related events;
• Assist in departmental administrative and finance arrangements;
• Prepare project schedules, education related research and trend analysis;
• Work with our Advisors, top executives and other stakeholders to create and review public communications through traditional and social media channels to ensure a consistent identity and message;
• Work closely with the management team and the program team, you will take part in establishing and driving effective integrated marketing, social media and communication strategies; 
• Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns; 
• Develop communication materials including press releases, opinion pieces, talking points, speeches and corporate collaterals;
• Develop cooperative relationships with media contacts, journalists, public officials, government regulators to maintain the reputation, while paving the way for future partnerships and opportunities;
• Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with the media in China, handling media enquiries, arranging press conferences and interviews;
• Manage third-party vendors for production of branding materials;
• Coordinate Advisors meetings and prepare related meeting materials;
• Participate in local and overseas engagement for relationship build-up;
• All work assigned to you by your supervisor(s) and such other duties, as the Foundation may from time to time consider appropriate.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Translation / Marketing / Communications / Journalism /  Public Relations is preferred
• At least 6 years of relevant working experience with minimum 2 years in management including Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media Relations, External Communications, Public Relations gained from PR agencies / consultancies, Professional Services, Listed Companies
• Established relationships with media, journalists and social media channels in Hong Kong, China or the Asian markets
• Strategic and creative thinking and knowledgeable in current affairs and local politics
• Dynamic personality with good project management and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communications, fluent writing and editing skills in English and Chinese; highly developed presentation skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Able to work/travel independently and willing to take responsibilities
• Self-motivated, ability to prioritize multiple tasks with proactive attitude
• Willing to develop and building rapport with stakeholders/partners
• Detailed-minded
• Strong in administrative management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese word processing
