Job Description

Creative Copywriter and Social Media Specialist

 The role is responsible for creating and writing all copy for use in internal and external communication, including that of social media, press releases, byline articles and more. The role also provides support for all other marketing areas that require the need of copy such as events, award submissions and brand building.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and create content by copywriting for internal and external communication materials to support marketing and digital marketing campaigns;
  • Assist in creating a clear brand tone of voice and create a list of brand guidelines for all communications;
  • Deliver creative and compelling copy across all aspects of our corporate communications, including press releases, presentations, events and sales materials, articles and social media;
  • Create a content marketing and blogging calendar which fits in with industry events and trends;
  • Execute online promotion campaigns and involve in all social media channels to increase customer engagement and loyalty;
  • Conduct research and create compelling and SEO-friendly blogs for our site and external websites;
  • Proof-read and ensure all copy meets the brand’s style and tone of voice;
  • Create white-papers and in-depth articles as and when required;
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing and Branding Team to ensure all communication collaterals are well written and accurately reflect the brand.

 

Requirements

  • College graduate or above preferably in Journalism, Communications / Marketing or PR related disciplines;
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years solid experience in media, marketing or corporate communications;
  • Experience creating copy for a range of digital platforms, including blogs, press releases, email campaigns, website copy etc;
  • A passion for writing and the ability to produce creative and compelling copy to tight deadlines;
  • Native or excellent fluency in English, and the proficiency in both Traditional and Simplified Chinese, preferably experienced in Chinese-English translation;
  • Flexible writing style and possessing strong market sense;
  • Responsible, organized, proactive and self-motivated, yet is a good team player;
  • Business writing style and technology background will be an advantage.
